Miranda Lambert is facing criticism again for her behavior at a recent music festival, disappointing many fans. This isn’t the first time the country singer has received negative feedback for her actions on stage, and her latest behavior has upset some attendees.
The incident happened during her July 14 performance at the Montana Festival. A video taken by a fan shows Lambert scolding the crowd. The clip, which spread quickly online, shows Lambert visibly frustrated, dressed in a cowboy hat and denim dress with tassels, calling out people who weren’t paying attention to her performance.
In the video, Lambert can be heard saying, “Your head’s not turned the right way; it should be facing me,” clearly showing her frustration with the crowd’s lack of attention. Some fans cheered, but others seemed surprised by her reaction.
Lambert didn’t hold back, adding, “If you’re here to chat, do it elsewhere,” making it clear she wanted everyone focused on the show. To fans who were enjoying the performance, she reassured them by saying, “If you’re here to sing, listen to country music, and drink beer, we’re doing that tonight.”
Her frustration also extended to people causing trouble in the crowd. She asked, “Are we clear?” while raising her hands, referring to a possible scuffle. She joked, “Fighting’s not okay… and it’s always the girls. We get wild!” laughing to lighten the mood before raising her cup for a toast.
When Lambert raised her cup, she noticed it was empty and asked the stage crew for a refill. “Mine’s empty,” she said, and her drink was quickly replaced. She then shouted, “Looks like a good time for a drink, y’all!” as she tried to move past the tension.
