Diddy’s lawyer shares bizarre explanation for why the rapper had so many bottles of baby oil

Diddy’s lawyer had a pretty unusual explanation about why the rapper had so many bottles of baby oil.

As previously reported, Sean “Diddy” Combs is currently being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center (MDC) in New York, following his arrest on Monday, September 16, at the Park Hyatt Hotel in Manhattan.

Diddy has been charged with a range of serious offenses, including sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation for the purpose of engaging in prostitution.

Despite pleading not guilty, the rapper has been denied bail twice, even after offering a $50 million bail package.

During the ongoing investigation, federal agents allegedly discovered over 1,000 bottles of baby oil at Combs’ Miami residence, according to reports from The Daily Mail.

In an interview earlier this week, Diddy’s attorney, Marc Agnifilo, addressed the discovery and offered a rationale for the unusual stockpile.

“I don’t think it was 1,000. I think it was a lot. I mean, there is a Costco right down the street. I think Americans buy in bulk, as we know,” Agnifilo told the New York Post.

He added: “These are consensual adults doing what consensual adults do. We can’t get so puritanical in this country to think that somehow sex is a bad thing because if it was, there would be no more people.”

Diddy faces charges of sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation for the purpose of engaging in prostitution.

According to prosecutors, Diddy allegedly orchestrated events called “Freak Offs,” described as “elaborate and produced sex performances” where he often recorded the activities while masturbating, per FOX News.

The indictment claims some of these events lasted for days, requiring IV fluids to help participants recover from the physical strain and drug use.

Despite the severity of the charges, Agnifilo maintains his client is optimistic about his defense.

“He’s just laser-focused, he’s engaged, he’s helpful, he’s confident,” the lawyer said. “We’re going through our defense as we do every day, and his spirits are relatively good.”

On Thursday, Costco refuted the claim that Diddy purchased the baby oil from them.

Speaking to TMZ, the wholesale giant clarified that baby oil is not sold at any of its U.S. locations, distancing itself from the bizarre assertion.

In addition to the discovery of the baby oil, prosecutors revealed that authorities also found bondage materials, sex tapes, hidden cameras, and specially designed rooms for sexual performances at Diddy’s residence.

Diddy has previously faced numerous legal challenges, with several individuals accusing him of physical and sexual abuse. Among those is his former girlfriend, singer Cassie, who has also made claims against him.

If convicted on all charges, the 54-year-old mogul faces a minimum of 15 years in prison, with the possibility of life behind bars.

He is being detained following his arrest at the Park Hyatt Hotel in Manhattan on Monday, September 16.

The rapper has been charged with sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation to engage in prostitution, according to Sky News.

He has pleaded not guilty but has been denied bail twice, despite offering a $50 million bail package.

During their investigation, federal agents reportedly found over 1,000 bottles of baby oil in Diddy’s Miami residence, per the Daily Mail.

However, on Thursday, Costco, the membership-only retail giant, told TMZ that baby oil is not sold at any of its locations across the U.S.

In addition to the large quantity of baby oil, prosecutors reported finding bondage materials, sex tapes, hidden cameras, and specially designed rooms for these performances.

According to the indictment, Diddy has also been accused of orchestrating drug-fueled sexual encounters, known as “Freak Offs,” involving both female victims and male sex workers, per FOX News.

His lawyer, Marc Agnifilo, declared his client’s innocence, and described the “freak offs” as consensual: “Is it sex trafficking? Not if everybody wants to be there.”

His former girlfriend, singer Cassie, is one of the women who have made claims against him.
